NEEO III network meeting at LAYERTEC on November 18, 2025

On November 18, LAYERTEC hosted a meeting of the NEEO III network. The network’s objective is the professional exchange on energy-related transformation processes within the Thuringian industry. Topics include concepts of combined heat and power, waste heat recovery, process optimization, and management practices to meet current regulatory requirements.

LAYERTEC presented its transformation plan aimed at reducing company-wide greenhouse gas emissions by 40 % by 2033. Measures already implemented were also presented, including the photovoltaic system, the energy supply corridor, and the preparation and verification of the GHG inventory.

Participants showed strong interest in the transformation activities. The company tour was assessed as particularly informative.
