Polarizing Beam Splitter Cubes

Similar to thin film polarizers or polarization prisms, polarization beam splitter cubes open the possibility to separate the s- and p-polarized part of the incident light.

These joined optics offer high bandwidths, a high polarization ratio between Tp and Ts and, in contrast to metal layer-based beam splitters, negligible absorption.
