Assemblies

The manufacturing process of optical assemblies, i.e. the assembly of individual parts to form assemblies, is referred to as optical assembly. During assembly, the individual components are permanently and finally united into a system in a targeted arrangement by joining.

The following joining technologies are available at LAYERTEC:

• • Glueing
• • Gating (optical contacting)
• • Silicate bonding
• • Ultra-short pulse laser welding

Furthermore, we are able to prepare components for joining steps at the customer's site. An example of this is solderable coatings on side surfaces.
