Prisms

With a prism it is possible, among other things, to split white light into its color components. More important for laser technology, however, is the ability to redirect light. An important mechanism in this process is total internal reflection. In this process, light is completely reflected into the source medium at an angle of incidence that varies depending on the glass material.

Our applied manufacturing technologies enable complex coatings on prisms. In combination with ultrasonic drilling and structuring, even difficult requirements can be implemented.
