A mirror consists of a substrate and a reflective coating. Depending on the application, one wavelength range is completely or partially reflected. At the same time, it is possible to optimize a mirror to allow other wavelength ranges to pass through (transmit).

LAYERTEC manufactures mirrors for different power and wavelength ranges. Our core competencies are the production of optical interference coatings with particularly high reflectivities (R > 99.999 %), high damage thresholds (LIDT) and the correction of refractive index-related travel time differences in ultrashort pulse lasers (GDD).
