OPO Optics

Optical parametric oscillators (OPO) require special optics that separate or combine the spectral ranges of pump, signal, and Idler wavelengths in different variations.

LAYERTEC's OPO optics are usually calculated with continuous GD or GDD curves to enable universal short-pulse application.

We produce complex mirror sets on customer order and in series for the specific adjustment of propagation delays. Here, the functional ranges are usually broader than for comparable classical Bragg mirrors. The sputtered layers in combination with e.g. substrates made of undoped YAG ensure excellent mechanical and climatic long-term stability in the wavelength range 300 nm – approx. 4300 nm.
